Beard and mustache transplantation is performed under local anesthesia. Hair follicles are harvested from the posterior neck and transferred to the targeted zone. 

The procedure takes approximately 7 to 8 hours. Following the hair-loss period that takes around 2 months after day 15, almost all hairs grow in month 9 to 12 and the results are completely natural and permanent. It is recommended to wait to turn 18 years of age so that the beard takes it final form for the procedure.
